Flamenco and Fire at the May Art Crawl Experience in Downtown Anaheim
Anaheim, California – Celebrate local arts and culture with the 6th year of the Art Crawl Experience series. Downtown Anaheim’s Art Crawl Experience (ACE) is a quarterly art walk and arts festival, which takes place on the second Saturday of February, May, August and November from 6pm until 10pm.
The May 14th ACE provides an artsy atmosphere, a place where folks can stroll through a cascade of canopies illuminated by Euro-style twinkling market lights, shop for one-of-a-kind gifts at over 70 artist, indie craft and gourmet food booths, dine at a downtown eateries and sip on beverages along the way. Muzeo Museum & Cultural Center will be featuring their current exhibition, “Master Craft: The Art of Woodworking.” Entertainment for the evening will include local band BluesBettie, Flamenco dancing by Naranjita Flamenco dancers, fiery performances by El Fuego de la Vida (The Fire of Life ) and soulful singing by singer/songwriter Felice la Zae.
Highlights of the May Art Crawl Experience include half off admission into Muzeo’s “Master Craft: The Art of Woodworking,” a drum circle presented by Da African Village near the Veteran’s Monument, featured artists at the Anaheim Packing District and Pop! Comics’ mini-exhibition, “We Are Made of Stardust” by artist Heather Toledo.
The crawl stretches from Clementine to Anaheim Boulevard along neo-vintage Center Street Promenade with activities featured at Muzeo, Center Gallery and the Anaheim Packing District.
