La Habra, CA – – Today Republican candidate for California’s 29th Senate District, Tim Shaw, announced receiving the support of seven of the district’s mayors in his campaign. The list is impressive at an early stage of the campaign as Shaw is supported by seven mayors from the 29th District. The newly announced list of endorsements includes;

Mayor Michael Blazey, La Habra
Mayor Gene Hernandez, Yorba Linda
Mayor Rob Johnson, Cypress
Mayor Greg Sebourn, Fullerton
Mayor Marty Simonoff, Brea
Mayor Tom Tait, Anaheim
Mayor Chad Wanke, Placentia

Fullerton Mayor Greg Sebourn stated, “Tim Shaw has a proven record of serving this community and the cities within the District. Tim has long been an advocate for local control and has demonstrated time and again his commitment to finding solutions and doing what is right. Tim has always worked hard for Fullerton and the region. He has my full support!”

Anaheim Mayor Tom Tait added, “Tim has led the city of La Habra well as councilmember and Mayor. Tim is a strong conservative leader and is exactly the type of representative our community needs in Sacramento to get our state back on track.”

Tim Shaw has jumped out to an early lead in the campaign as the only announced Republican. His campaign has secured many Republican endorsements including the incumbent Senate Republican Leader Bob Huff making him the virtual consensus candidate. Senator Huff is prevented from running again due to term limits.
