Man Who Was Beaten, Stabbed In West Anaheim Park Expected To Survive

The OC Register reports that a man was beaten with a baseball bat and stabbed multiple times at John Marshall Park late on Wednesday night, March 25, but he is expected to survive:

A man was beaten in the head with an object Wednesday night and stabbed more than once in the back during a fight with multiple people in an Anaheim park, but is expected to survive, police said.

Anaheim police heard of the fight around 10:15 p.m. at John Marshall Park, 2001 W. La Palma Ave., and found a man bloody and beaten, police Officer Glenn Marumoto said.

Witnesses originally reported the unidentified man “was hit in the head with a bat and had a couple of stab wounds on his back,” Marumoto said.

Police are searching for the suspects.

John Marshall Park is located at 2001 W. La Palma Avenue in west Anaheim, a couple of blocks down the street from Servite High School and adjacent to John Marshall Elemntary School.
