On Saturday, January 31, graffiti was spotted near the entrance to the Anaheim Police Department on Harbor Boulevard that read “Kill the Police.”
Later, demonstrators gathered with signs condemning the police as murderers.
Much of the demonstrators’ anger, of course, stems from recent stories about (mostly white) police officers shooting unarmed black men.
To my knowledge they didn’t mention that 62% of all deadly shootings were by police officers under attack.
They never mentioned incidents like the Dillon Taylor case in Salt Lake City where an unarmed 20-year-old white male was shot by a black cop.
And they certainly weren’t demonstrating against Ismaaiyl Brinsley, the black felon who shot NYPD officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu in the head as they sat in their police cruiser.
But here’s something more telling.
They never cited 2013 FBI statistics indicating some 42% of all cop killers are black (when the assailants’ race is known).
Why is that?
Why weren’t these demonstrators also protesting against blacks who kill police officers?
What’s the message here?
That white police officers killing blacks is racist, but blacks killing cops is OK?
