Councilwoman Kris Murray: Thank You, Anaheim!

From Councilwoman Kris Murray:

Thank you Anaheim – It’s Been an Adventure!

After two terms, eight years, it’s time to pass the baton to a new generation of city leaders.

I took office on December 7, 2010, surrounded by family, friends and community leaders who supported my candidacy to serve as a member of the Anaheim City Council. Tonight, I step down fulfilling my commitment to residents, completing two full terms of office, surrounded by family, friends and community leaders who helped me achieve this dream to serve. Thank you to those who were there every step of the way.

During my first oath of office, I made a promise to focus on neighborhoods, quality of life services, grow local jobs and maintain and build a vibrant economy. Despite significant odds and tremendous political strife, I was able to deliver on my promises. I pray Anaheim is better off for my having served and wish those who are stepping up tonight every best wish in achieving their goals and objectives for the city. Your successes will be Anaheim’s successes.

  1. It is with great confidence I declare that Kris Murray has been the most involved, & truly dedicated council women who has ever served Anaheim. Against endless obstacles and other opposition she has persevered and WON every issue and problem that arose.
She truly loves Anaheim, her city, her home.
So all the best to Kris in her new endeavor.
