Major Business Groups Endorse Mayor Tim Shaw for OC Supervisor
September 17, 2018 (Orange County, CA) – Several major business groups have endorsed Mayor Tim Shaw for 4th District Orange County Supervisor. With the election just weeks away, front-runner Tim Shaw received endorsements from the Orange County Business Council’s (OCBC) BIZPAC, the North Orange County Chamber of Commerce PAC, and the Brea Chamber of Commerce.
Lucy Dunn, CEO of OCBC, stated “I have known Tim for many years and worked with him on numerous business concerns of the County. He has a clear understanding of business issues and works to encourage businesses to expand to create more jobs in Orange County. Tim will make a great County Supervisor.”
Alex Burrola, North Orange County Chamber of Commerce PAC (NOCimPACt) Chairman, stated “Tim is a unique candidate in that he understands both businesses and government. He knows what a hard job being a small business owner is in Orange County, and wants to help cut government Red Tape. That is why we endorsed him for Orange County Supervisor.”
John Koos, Chairman of the Board of the Brea Chamber of Commerce, stated “The Brea Chamber enthusiastically endorses Tim Shaw for Supervisor. He is a great friend to the Brea business community, and he is always trying to help local businesses.”

All three have great influence in making our economy grow in North Orange County,” said Mayor Tim Shaw upon receiving the business groups endorsements. With these endorsements the Shaw for Supervisor campaign gains even more momentum looking toward the November election.
Tim Shaw is currently Mayor of La Habra, and has served on the City Council since 2008, serving as Mayor previously in 2012. Along with serving as Mayor, Tim Shaw serves as Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA), Director for the Board of Directors of the Orange County Sanitation District (OCSD) and as a Board Member for the Association of California Cities-Orange County (ACC-OC). He also serves on the Steering Committee for the Groundwater Replenishment System (GWRS). Mayor Shaw has lived in North Orange County with his wife Shannon and six sons for the past 13 years.
