AEC Next Technology Expo + Conference brings high tech to Anaheim

AEC Next Technology Expo + Conference and SPAR 3D Expo & Conference will join forces in Anaheim, CA, June 5-7, 2018, providing unparalleled access to emerging AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) technology and 3D solutions not offered at any other conference in the world. Anaheim has been chosen to launch this inaugural event, proving itself to be a leading city in the tech world. Technology experts from 35 countries and nearly all 50 states will converge in Anaheim to discuss solutions in the built world and 3D environment.

AEC Next offers multiple live-demonstration areas including Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality interactive environments, a 3D scanning project from NASA, drones, artificial intelligence, an Open Integration Hub presented by the Construction Progress Coalition, an immersive VR experience in a demo dome by Topcon, a hologram table from Euclideon and other live action demos (there will also be a DeLorean – not everything can be in the future!). There are more than 60 free show floor education sessions, hands-on workshops, two Launch Centers for emerging technologies and start-ups and a university lightening round competition.

The much anticipated co-located event gives attendees the chance to explore more than 70 sessions with 100+ speakers in two separate and robust conference programs highlighting topics such as: BIM and Integrated Project Delivery; Sustainable Sites, Infrastructure and Smart Cities; Industrial Facilities/Asset Management; and Process, Power, Utilities. AEC Next and SPAR 3D shared keynotes will take the stage to explore industry insights on creativity, future jobsite technology and integrated projects.

Christine Salmon, Event Director of AEC Next, expressed the importance of choosing Southern California to launch the event. “There is a major shift happening in AEC right now. We wanted to provide a space where industry influencers can build on that momentum and inspire attendees to continue the conversation around how to implement or improve the emerging technologies that are helping to shape the future of our built world. Southern California is the perfect place and platform to launch this international collaborative event.”
