This came over the transom from the Harry Sidhu for Mayor campaign:
Today, Anaheim business owner and public servant, Harry Sidhu announced State Senator Janet Nguyen’s endorsement of his candidacy for the Mayor of Anaheim.
Senator Janet Nguyen cited Harry’s years of dedicated commitment as a local business owner and an Anaheim elected official. “Harry Sidhu’s years of experience as both a public servant and a small business owner make him the perfect candidate to tackle Anaheim’s rapidly changing and diverse needs,” said Senator Nguyen.
In 2014, Senator Janet Nguyen was overwhelmingly elected to represent the residents of California’s 34th State Senate District, a portion of which covers the city of Anaheim. She is the first woman elected to represent the 34th Senate District and the first Vietnamese-American in the country to be elected to the State Senate.
“To have the support of Senator Janet Nguyen, a public servant who has built a reputation among her peers as a thoughtful lawmaker and decisive leader, is a great honor,” said Harry. “Anaheim needs new and innovative solutions to adapt to our rapidly changing economic environment. We all have a stake in Anaheim’s success, it’s time we came together to build a community where everyone can thrive.”
Harry Sidhu is a longtime small business owner who started his first business in Orange County 30 years ago. He served for eight years as a member of the Anaheim City Council and has been an active leader in the local community for decades.
